Word of the Day Espresso Shot
“How about this?” The birthday boy, Josh, yelled to get everyone’s attention.
The group of middle school boys, gathered in a park for a laser tag themed birthday party, all looked at their friend.
“This time, NO RULES! NO BOSS! Free for all!” Josh yelled.
At first, it was extremely fun.
But then, chaos began to set in. A few boys got hurt.
Josh began shouting again. “No! Wait! Pause!”
But no one heard him over the disorder.
He wished he had never suggested a game without authority.
Today’s Challenge
The fact that God is master over all is a comfort to us. He ultimately holds the future. We can rest that the world may seem like it’s chaotic— but it’s not. It’s all under God’s expert mastership.
Memory Verse
"For you, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.” Psalm 97:9
