Word of the Day Espresso Shot
Word of the Day: Inheritance
Angela held her breath and let it out. It was time for the reading of her grandmother’s will.
Her family was big. Several of the cousins had been whispering about money and what they would do with their inheritance.
But Angela didn’t care. She was only there because her dad has asked her to.
The lawyer began to read. Angela smiled softly when he listed a few of her grandma’s possessions she had willed to Angela.
And that was it. Angela knew her grandmother didn’t have much.
As they walked out, her cousins huffed their breath and said something about grandmother not leaving them anything.
But Angela ignored them. Her grandmother was responsible for leading her dad to Jesus, who in turn introduced Angela to her faith— which was everything to her.
Her grandmother had, in fact, left a rich inheritance.
