Word of the Day Espresso Shot
“Excuse me! Excuse me!”
Vera called out to the runners around her, but no one was responding.
“What mile are we on?” Vera clenched and unclenched her fists as she jogged, and called out to runners who came near her.
“No idea!” Yelled one.
Another yelled, “Maybe mile fifteen?”
To which another runner answered, “No! Mile five!”
Vera put a hand to her temple, an exhaustion headache beginning to form.
A few miles later, Vera panted at a woman running by her, “Where is the finish line?”
“No idea!” The woman called back.
Vera was beginning to feel hopeless and drained. How could she keep running with all the confusing information she was getting?

Memory Verse
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.
Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:26-27
